conditions - Migraine

Migraine can have a number of different causes, so it can be helped by a variety of therapies.

A study by Vickers and colleagues on the effect of acupuncture on chronic headache, mainly migraine, was published in the British Medical Journal in 2004. Patients in the acupuncture group suffered 22 fewer days of headache per year. Compared with controls, they also used 15% less medication, made 25% fewer visits to general practitioners and took 15% fewer days off sick.

Patterns or associations may give you the clue to why your migraines come when they do.
